I didn’t expect this to be that good considering the price and the city. The maki rolls were made with very fresh fish, the miso ramen tasted delicious, I especially liked the shrimp and the noodles. Okinawa roll was the best.
Delicious Japanese food in Guanajuato. I had the ramen, and the deep fried vegetarian roll. I was NOT disappointed. Very tasty broth and good size portions.

One of the best restaurants in Guanajuato! I had the bento with potato salad, Thai peanut salad, grilled veggies, salad roll, and curry chicken salad. All the bento salads compliment each other perfectly. Also had the salmon maki which came with a spicy mayo that blew my mind. Tan rico! Great music, really friendly, helpful staff. It seems like they’ve seriously considered all the feedback from previous reviews, some of which seem very personal and a bit unfair. I don’t offer five stars sparingly and this experience definitely deserve them.
A surprise inside. Vegan friendly The outside is very unassuming but go up the stairs and its a nice little space on the second floor. There are a number of vegan options but the little dishes or "showcases" for the bento are not all vegan so you'll probably want to get one of the main dishes. I ended up with the tofu rice bowl (which comes with some vegetables and salad in the bowl) and a couple of the little dishes (a quinoa small bowl and a beet salad)
Wow! A delightful surprise to encounter such tasty Asian food in the middle of Mexico . The green curry with tofu was spot on. Both authentic (yes, we’ve spent two months in Thailand—so not a fantasy, but a reality) and tasty, it had just the right texture and the tofu was super fresh. The Japanese bento, though tasty and reasonably priced, would not exactly pass muster in Japan (yes, I loved there for ten years so I should have a reasonable idea of what would and wouldn’t pass) but was very good, nonetheless. Certainly worth a visit if you have a hankering for Asian food done well.
